We recommend this cottage for 6 to 10 adults + kids.
Our largest chalet! Directly on the stream, this spacious chalet was once part of the late Hôtel La Sapinière. From its common areas, particularly its veranda, you have a very beautiful elevated view. A beautiful authentic stone fireplace with direct flame is in the center of the upper living room and a woodturning fireplace in the lower living room.
On the front gallery, you have a BBQ but a 2nd BBQ is on the garden level near the second kitchen. You have the choice of two dining rooms, a screened porch as well as your own outdoor space for sharing meals.
It is a beautiful spacious chalet with large rooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms + 2 extra bathrooms and a laundry room. Note that the chalet has two dishwashers and a washer and dryer set. Its total area is approximately 2500 square feet.
Both floors connect inside through a storage room but we recommend using the outside doors.
PLEASE NOTE THAT LAC DE LA SAPINIÈRE HAS RETURNED TO ITS NATURAL STREAM/LITTLE RIVER FORM FOR AN INDETERMINATE DURATION OR UNTIL THE DAM IS REPAIRED.

SLEEPING OPTIONS
The Duplex has 4 large closed bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. You will find 4 bathrooms in total. In one of the bedrooms, you will find a King bed, storage unit and wardrobe; in the other bedroom, you have 2 Queen beds, a loveseat, 2 storage units and a wardrobe; A 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers, the 4th bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and a storage unit and hooks for clothes. A laundry room is located on the garden level.
LA CUISINE
The Duplex has 2 kitchens. It is therefore perfect for a multi-generational vacation or between groups of friends. Lots of storage, 2 large living/dining rooms and a lot of space. You will lack absolutely nothing to prepare meals: cookware, standard coffee maker, kettle, electric mixer, small electric mixer, slow cooker and of course, a Swiss fondue set.
SURROUNDING YOUR COTTAGE
+ There is a garden at the entrance of the chalet: do not hesitate to harvest what is in season!
+ On BBQ is on the balcony on the upper floor and a 2nd BBQ is near the picnic table by the stream
+ Your 4 private parking spaces + EV charger
+ On the other side of the street, behind the small rustic cottage, you will find the pool and hot tub
+ There are two campfire areas: one near the hot tub in an outdoor fire pit and the other on the common ground.
+ In front of your unit, you have the stream.
THE LOCATION
The duplex is located on the edge of the water stream.
PARKING & CHARGING
The duplex offers you four private parking spaces at the exit of your chalet and your own electric car connection point.
THE BREAD BOX
You will notice a small house at the top of the steps, near your door. A fresh bread from the local bakery La Mie Richard will be delivered there: it’s your bread box!
